The 100 Club came alive with the sound of reggae.
Nirvana reggae: courtesy of legendary Jamaican singer, Little Roy and his ‘Battle For Seattle’ soundsystem which featured collaborators Prince Fatty, Horseman, Hollie Cook and the one and only, Don Letts.
Bringing his collection of reggae versions of ten songs recorded by Nirvana to life for the very first time, Little Roy immediately won the audience over with his wide and welcoming style and unique take on crowd pleasing favourites including ‘Sliver’ and ‘Come As You Are’.
With the 20th birthday of Nirvanas ‘Nevermind’ hanging expectantly in the air, the atmosphere was one of pure celebration for both the songs and the sound filling the four walls. Little Roy, we whole heartedly salute you.
